Prof Paula Lorgelly

Paula Lorgelly is a Professor of Health Economics in the Department of Applied Health Research at University College London. Paula is the leader of the Health Economics and Data Theme in the NIHR North Thames ARC. She has over 20 years’ experience working in academia in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand (including a visiting position in Germany) and the independent sector in the United Kingdom. Paula works across the health and medical spectrum and much of her clinical research has focused on oncology, particularly genomics and precision medicine. Her methodological research focuses on outcomes: comparing different HRQoL instruments, eliciting patient preferences and the use of outcomes in outcome-based payment or incentive schemes.
